Although she has represented national clients, Carole has deep roots in New York and New Jersey.  She graduated from a New Jersey college and law school, has lived and worked in New York, and currently resides in New Jersey.

Carole graduated with Honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from Douglass College (Rutgers University) with a B.A. in English.  After spending several years in the corporate world, Carole earned a J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999.

From 1999 to 2000, Carole served as the law clerk to the Honorable Joseph C. Messina, J.S.C. (now retired) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division.  She then went into private practice at three major East Coast law firms, where she practiced litigation, and learned trial techniques, appellate practice, and business counseling. 

She has handled diverse and complex matters involving the areas of commercial law and litigation, franchise litigation, employment law, condominium law, intellectual property law, healthcare law, and ERISA, many involving allegations of fraud.  Carole also provides transactional services such as real estate closings, drafting and reviewing business contracts, and reviewing employment contracts.

In 2012, Carole opened The Nowicki Law Firm.  She is dedicated to maintaining the level of professionalism she developed while working at larger firms earlier in her career.

In 2014, Carole also became Of Counsel to the Law Office of Kirsten Scheurer Branigan, P.C. in Nutley, New Jersey, where she focuses on employment law matters and assists with independent, internal corporate investigations into employment law complaints.
